Lobster Boy
I heard the price of lobster is down this year, so I drove 1500 miles, sacking the coast of Maine, seeking savings. Mission accomplished.

We go to Maine every year to visit Tom’s family…and do our annual lobster fest…Soft shell lobsters are cheaper than hardshell..and we bought them live numerous places for 4.50 (soft) a pound..Our favorite seafood shack is Dey’s in Yarmouth..The fried scallops, fried clams and lobster rolls are to die for!!!!!!!!
Hi, Nancy.
My fav was Thurstons in Bernard. It’s across the bay from Bar Harbor on Desert Island. Also Five Islands – very scenic near Georgetown. That’s where the pic is from. The Lobster Shack at two lights on Cape Elizabeth near Portland was pretty damn good too, plus it feature pounding surf at no additional charge.
Comparing hard to soft shell – the hard shell had firmer meat but the soft was more succulent, and easier to get to, due the soft shell. Plus it’s cheaper, My vote is for soft shell. – Lobster Boy
p.s. haven’t even mentioned fresh blueberries.
Great hat!
With gas at $4/gal, you broke even.
