The Obama Budget is in and so are the reviews. Robert Reich is pleased. He calls it progressive. The WSJ calls it revolutionary and draws attention to “an inconvenient tax”. Climate revenue flowing from the cap-and-trade system of carbon credits is really a big fat new tax. Krugman thinks it looks Mahvelous. And Krauthammer thinks it’s a plan for a European Union type nanny state.
